    Beautiful, nature at its best :wub2: I've actually seen red poppies on road verges this year, just gorgeous! Thanks @luciusmaximus :spinning:

      Yes you need whistle :loll:four 6ft in pink...I mentioned two might need moving but he won't have it now they're in :thud:

            Brilliant thanks. I did pop the packets folded into a Tupperware container and shoved it in back of wardrobe lol But just needed to be sure.

              Most seeds stay viable for years, there are exceptions obviously but year old seeds will almost certainly be as good as this year:blue thumb:
              I keep mine in the (unheated) kitchen, in various old biscuit tins:snorky:
              If you're interested, now is the time to start sowing biennials and perennials to plant out autumn or next spring :spinning:

                Hi Verdun, not sure about its reliability at flowering only got it last year so 1st year flowering, I grow it in a pot. I don't really grow large flowered clematis but I got this in memory of one of our Westies Bonnie.

                  I bought two Poppy plug plants and they have grown amazingly well. I also discovered I have more Poppies that have seeded into my garden that I didn't realise were there, blown in on the wind or transported by birds maybe. Lots of Poppies this year and hopefully they will spread all over the garden.
