It must be hot, hubby has put the red wine in the fridge
Seriously though, what a scorcher here today! Highs of 22, that might be average for some but here in the industrial wasteland that was Teesside the sun rarely breaks through the permanent grey cloud that hovers above

 

Well my god it was hot here today touching 75F but I kept in the shade and kept cooling my face with baby wipes and drinking about every half hour

Tonight temp is 61F and high in humidity :exhausted::fan:

 

Wet your wrists and neck, either cold water spray or damp kitchen roll, it really works you might look ......a bit odd..... but it works, promise

 

Loki the way each year keeps going with the heat and my skin mate...before the old man knows it...i'll have him rig a out side ….I have asked several times for a hot tube on the decking and he's refused

Don't be shocked if you ever see this on there the way things are going

Hot and sunny again today. A heatwave is forecast for tomorrow. I'm not a hot a weather person. I Will be hiding indoors when the temperature peeks. My garden desperately needs rain. It is cracking all over the place.

Gary haven't you got an out door hose mate to keep it watered well?..i don't blame you keeping in doors with these scorching heat temps we're having

 

Very still, hot, sunny and not a cloud to be seen, 24C/75F.

I took this picture just after 11pm from the back doorstep. Not a leaf moving, the only sound was bird song and a few lambs baa-ing in the distance. It doesn't get better than that. Still need the rain though, ten weeks now with just the occasional dribble.
