My new plants have taken off nicely

One Elijah Blue as flowered and the other hasn't

I trimmed the top down on both my pieris forest flame the other day and lifted them higher from the gravel besides trimming back a bit off the decking and they're starting to go red again

​

 

They are excellent for baskets

Already very warm down the beach......heat building towards an even hotter day

Apart from watering wont be in the garden today......salad stuff to pick though

Watch out for those rays today folks......friend of mine got her shoulders burned when stopping to talk for 15 minutes . Maybe spend more time indoors or under a parasol!

 

Hi fairly new member here and I'm playing catch-up with all the wonderful gardens..Some fantastic inspiration to be gained via them also...I'm currently working the pond area after I completed the beer garden aspect....and the grass carpet...lol.. I have just installed a small waterfall feature and back filled it with 4 bags of compost and planted Creeping Jenny, Campanula, Heuchera, Astible, Juniperus squatmata (blue carpet) and an ornamental grass sp. (it may be invasive so I've tried to contain it in a pot for now)...all in all I'm fairly pleased with the scheme and it will probably look much better when matured....have a great day folks

29c here today, only popped to the GC but the heat was incredible!
