It's 25c outside, it's not too bad being out in it. As soon as i come in, it hits me.

Here's the boys out for their walk, this time of day they go round the woods and it's shady at 10am

I've just given our acers and sambucus a mist spray as I do every day when it's really sunny. I'll give them another later this afternoon. It does in my opinion prevent scorching and cools the plant down for a while.
There's conflicting views on this practice, some say that the globules of water act as magnifying glasses on the leaves and actually increase the chance of scorching. I don't subscribe to that, nor does "The perennial plant potter," The award winning*, Alan Titchmarsh, (I call him that because at one time he seemed to be on "everything" on TV all year round).

              * Won the award for the worst description of a sex act in a novel.

Not really, he only came second.

Only up to 82f but lovely and sunny. Line dried the bed linens in record time because we also have a nice breeze. Then speedy and I played in the yard for awhile. All is trim and ready for the rain we've been promised for tomorrow :)

More clear blue skies, no cloud, no breeze and the temperature rose to 90f making it the hottest day for my area this year. The temperature now is 82f and the pressure reading is 1006hpa.:coffee::snorky:

Slightly cooler today, that old Easterly that has dogged us since March has reformed but only a light breeze at the moment 29.2C high for today.
Not seen a sky like this for a while though, dark blue and not one hint of cloud.

At least it is not humid, if it was, it would be unbearable.
