It has just gone to 102.0 f according to my outdoor thermometers - one is electronic and 2 are the old style glass ones. I'll have to wait to test some solvent on my driveway. The clear coat needs to be perked up but that's not happening today!

@Logan and @gail, sorry ladies but 27c is cool to me, we're at 35c right now with 50% humidity and that is after cooling down a little.

Glad I used speedy yesterday when it was only 32c. Speedy is my push mower... :)

The sun was back today, not a cloud in the sky and no breeze. The temperature is back up to 25C/77F.

A question from @KFF yesterday got me thinking about the temperatures we use here on the weather thread. Should we be posting the forecast temperature for our area or our own gardens. @ARMANDII perhaps you can help us here please. :)

@Sheal our weather guessers are always off a bit with their predictions so I use my own back yard data. After all, the title is "Your" not your local weather station. . Just my interpretation. . )

It's all a matter of personal choice, Sheal:dunno::snorky: I have a good weather station in the garden
so I quote that as that recording the actual temperature immediately in my area, but some members use the Thermometers they have placed in garden or their house, or even local radio. I also quote the recorded air pressure in my area/garden as that quoted by Met Office is that of Sea Level pressure and those above that have different readings.:coffee::snorky:

That's what I've been thinking @CanadianLori. The problem I have here is I'm on high ground and the two local weather stations give a much different reading as they sit quite a bit below where I live. For some reason although they are on lower ground, the temperature is lower than where I am. Perhaps it's because I'm nearer the sun up here. :snorky:

Thanks @ARMANDII. It's difficult to know which way to go for me, during the winter months my front garden can be ten degrees lower than the back as it faces north west and catches the frost. Perhaps I should 'plant' thermometers all round and take an average temperature. Or post both my garden temperature and the local area reading.
