Yawn yawn, wakey wakey Autumn 2018

Morning all

Getting warm already - looks like today is going to be a scorcher (again!)

I was watching the lightning radar for a while yesterday and into last night - France and Spain took a right kicking with the lightning, and it seemed to get stuck there.

Aloha everyone,

It's a bright and breezy morning and the air is a bit clearer because of the breeze. We still have another two weeks to go before the temperatures are due to dip. I may have melted by then.

I'm still early morning gardening and I'm actually making more of an impression on it with my weeding than I have done in years. A lot less trouble with my back and don't know whether it's because I'm building up the right muscles by doing it little and often or because I've lost some weight. I mustn't get complacent and overdo things

Optimism and bouncability (@wiseowl I definitely think that word should be introduced into the dictionary ) are the rule of the day.

@Zigs the Bridgwater are going great guns despite them having had those beetles living in the seeds . Virtually all the seeds had holes through them where the bugs had eaten their way out. The plants have grown very quickly and overtaken the runners. We even have some beans on them but not much in the way of flowers yet. They were certainly tastier than our other French beans Picture a bit blurry.



All beans have been getting plenty of water and are responding well.
