It's another hot one ....we even had a txt/email from the water board asking us to conserve water over the weekend which isn't usual for Liverpool.

That's great, we have chicken breast in a garlic bread crumbs, that has to be cooked in the oven before the chips.

I use my barbecue to bake (or sunoven or woodoven) in this weather. The barbecue is easy to light, I wrap the stuff in foil or sit it on foil if don't want grill marks and the house doesn't get heated up. I baked bacon, peameal bacon, porkchops and breakfast potatoes out there yesterday morning. Easy peasy.

It is just over 98f here right now. Think I'll go out and bake something in the barbecue. Hmm, maybe I'll bake some bread rolls as well whilst it is lit. :)

As it is now 3:30 or so, that means we've used up another day of the hot spell. Only 4 more to go! :blue thumb:

At 8.15 this morning the temperature was 82f, I went into Hyde, Manchester today to visit one of my Sisters and the temperature there was 79f. On driving back home the temperature kept rising until it got to 84f, it stayed at that until 7pm and it's now dropped to 70f, while the pressure is reading 1002hpa.:coffee::snorky:

It reached 90F here today and we kept out of the midday sun. The temperature dropped rapidly as soon as the sun set as a breeze picked up. By 10 p.m. it was 63F

Rising rapidly now and the forecast is hot for the next two weeks and then dropping to the mid to upper 70's. No rain in sight.

Hi Logan, can you not buy any cheap drinking water ( Spring water ) for them? I can get 2L bottles for 19p.
Otherwise how about boiling your water first and then letting it go cold ( don't know if this would work but it's got to be better than straight tap water ).
