    @zilly your plants been ID by @pete as a "Disocactus ackermannii"...extra info below mate :)

    Disocactus ackermannii. Disocactus ackermannii is an epiphytic cactus from tropical forests in the states of Veracruz and Oaxaca, Mexico. In cultivation, it has been confused with Disocactus ×hybridus, a hybrid between D. phyllanthoides and D. speciosus.

    @pete and @Gail68 thanks for the info. They are so easy to look after, just break a bit off and stick it in a pot. They do seem to like a fair bit of water in the summer.

                            Bringing back memories. I used to have quite a large collection of cacti but sadly left them for the new owners when we sold that house.

                              Sorry for jumping in :redface: but I could do with some advice, regarding ' ol dusty :)
                              He lives on a kitchen window and , obviously, needs repotting but what I want to know is, can I shower him?
                              He's got a nasty scorched area but seems to be ok. He's just .... dusty! :redface: How can I clean him :dunno: . Thanks in advance :dbgrtmb:
