Perhaps a Rufous in that area. Pacific through the Rockies when migrating to Cental America and Mexico.

I found this Jersey Tiger moth still and floating on my pond this morning - they are becoming quite well-established in South London. Fished it out and put it on the side, and it soon recovered itself sufficiently to crawl to this dianthus. Hope it makes a full recovery!

My friendly Goldfinches feeding on the Cornflowers.
I am not quite sure if they are feeding on seeds or blackfly.

The Skylarks in a local 6 year old woodland that have been nesting in the grass amongst the trees may have finished nesting. For a few days there's been small groups flying around rather than just single birds rising from nests.

Hmmm, now I got my reading glasses on, are they Meadow Pipits?
