I'm predicting the weather will change, give it a week or two, but if it stays dry though august I'll eat my hat!! :heehee:
The children break up on Friday, historically this means rain will come ( in the north east, anyway )

                          :gmorning:back at you. :)

Yes, unfortunately and no rain forecast for foreseeable either. :(

With all this weather modification that goes on globally, you'd think they could just do some cloud seeding to make it rain in the middle of a drought, if they wanted to. But, it seems, it's not that easy...

This is in America, where they have been using cloud seeding, but they have actually made things worse. They shouldn't really be messing around with nature.

"Weather modification is not a drought-busting tool," he said. "The industry does not advocate it for such. The middle of a drought is the worst time to try to start a program because you need clouds to increase rain from."
Cloud seeding, ND's weather modification program draws public's...

Hi Sally, nothing showed for me on that link just a nice blank page

Mother nature shouldn't be messed with, it's the worst thing they can do...we have to look at our plants surviving like animals in the Arctic...look at how it's melting and I watched a programme about it where a man who studies the animals there said they could loose the white polar bear as they like land besides several other's he mentioned...unless they're able to travel.

If we have plants strong enough to survive the heat without water...then there's still hope in mother nature:fingers crossed: :)
