@Loki cooking is one of my hobbies. :blue thumb: The other Sunday we had three dozen cousins over for the day.

I made six different curries (make all my own curry powders) and two different rice dishes for lunch followed by a variety of desserts. Flower arrangements by Mrs Shiney - the big one in the middle was made from vegetables :dbgrtmb:

Then we had scones with Cornish clotted cream and jam in the afternoon and a supper of salads, cheeses, smoked salmon, home made fish cakes, houmous, pickled cues, olives etc. and lots of different breads.

@Gail_68 those meals look filling but don't seem to be the healthiest of options :noidea:. Not the best thing for a delicate stomach.

I didn't get a chance to eat last night until I got home at 10.30 p.m. I then heated up some home made cream of courgette and broccoli (done with coconut milk and not cream), and cooked a rib eye steak (£2.69 in Aldi) with new pots and lightly stir fried carrots, courgettes, French beans and mushrooms with a touch of flavouring from some onion and fresh ginger.

shiney yours sounds delicious but stupid as it may seem those meals I've added don't affect my stomach...I have to take 3 spasm tabs a day just to keep pain away.

I don't usually give my health details on an open forum but I have Lupus and such as sprouts, garlic kick a bad flare off and I have secondary Sjogren's syndrome with organ involvement...and the trouble that causes alone to the gullet and stomach is mad :wallbanging:….I didn't show it on my chip dinner but it was dosed with mayonnaise all over just so I could swallow the food without it lodging

@Gail_68 Hope you don’t mind me asking but when you was diagnosed with Lupus did you have the butterfly rash on your face at all? I went to see my Dr about the horrendous bone pain I was experiencing in my hands, feet etc a few years back so he ran some blood tests which showed I had weak signs of RA plus Lupus. When I asked my Dr what that meant he said it is my immune system attacking my body:yikes:

Anyway he sent me off to see a Rheumatologist who said that as I didn’t have the rash then I didn’t have the condition even though the blood test results said I did have it,and he wrote to my Dr to tell him I didn’t have the condition. He also ran blood tests and I was found to have a VitaminD3 deficiency that I had to have tablets for and now I get more sun on my skin instead of covering up and using high factor creams:smile:

When I told the Consultant that I was constantly exhausted he told me that it was due to my age and nothing more:sad:

My lunch today was carrot and coriander soup followed by griddled Cajun chicken breast with crushed minted potatoes and fresh peas.

@Gail_68 I don't consider that being off topic as it was referring to what you can eat. :blue thumb:

Well tonight I had Spiced chicken and whole wheat pasta salad... which isn't spiced to burn my mouth out or hurt my stomach...as I tried hubbies last week to see if it would hurt me :snorky: besides a small porkpie and some Spanish Chorizo.
