IMG_4929.JPG No, Rauchtopas Mark.:) Later variety that has only recently started to flower but it gets very full and floriferous. Lovely variety esp in the breeze when the coppery orange undersides blend in beautifully with the yellow/gold/orange petals
Have Sahins here though along with a few others and most have been flowering for a few weeks now ...love the heleniums
This is Sahins Mark.....Twynings After Eight dahlia behind it and
Rauchtopas just opening behind the dahlia

Wonderful display verdun :) I have moerheim but after an orange like Waultraut as recommended by Perki, to contrast with A. Black Adder but your combination is giving me others ideas. I managed to get my hands on Dahlia Bishop of Oxford by the way, easily my favourite plant of the year so far.

                          Mark. Thanks :)
I've not managed to place Bishop of Oxford quite right yet, after a couple of years. I have it with another helenium, hackonechloa and salvia leucanthemum (purple velvet). When salvia flowers, always late, I will know if it works :noidea:. Yes, I agree it is a stunning plant:)
