    I've recently come back in from my morning gardening. We had fairly thick fog which kept the plants damp and the air cool. The sun is now burning it off.

    I have a bad cold but am trying to be a brave boy about it :snorky:. I don't have man flue! :nonofinger:

            I am still waiting for it to cool down a bit so I can take Amber out for another walk she hasn't been since about 8ish this morning. Poor girl.

            Shiney, hope you are progressing with all your paperwork and it is cool in your office.

                  @moyra yesterday I was stuck in the heat like all of you as we were invited to some cousins. Extremely hospitable but my cough/cold didn't increase my resistance to feeling poorly. We left early and were home by 9 p.m. Unusually, I felt poorly enough to fall asleep almost immediately and slept until 1 a.m. So I've been working in the cool since then and got a lot of paperwork done and done some work in the garden.

                  I'm off shortly to open up and set up the village hall for a bridge class I'm running this morning (one of a series of seminars). I'll be back by lunch time and shall relax then.

                      @wiseowl & @shiney - hope you both are feeling better today.

                      @moyra is spot on too - shaping up to be another hot one, which sadly doesn't help any of us. for some reason, I am having a 'sore, cruddy & wobbly' day today, so I will need to tread carefully when I am on my feet - reckon it is the hot weather taking its toll.

                            Another hot day in the offing (reached 95F/ 35C yesterday) and then becoming cooler :hapydancsmil:

                            The seminar I was running went well yesterday morning but I was pleased to finish it by 1 p.m. as it was getting a bit hot in the hall. :phew: We'll have a similar problem this afternoon at the bridge club. :noidea:

                                Good day ,
                                We have been having buckets of rain. It is expected to get hot again so we shall also have the bonus of high hairmidity.. here comes my afro again...

                                Been doing some things for work. Made a couple of pelmets yesterday and decided it was time to put my industrial serger on wheels too. The last heavy (75 lbs) piece to be made easily shiftable.Was challenging trying to get it up on supports sk I could add the wheels but I'm quite pleased with having done that. I also finished the sun shades I made for the greenhouses. Used proper shade cloth and then bound the edge with Sunbrella tape. That must be why it clouded up and started raining.

                                I'll be making some soil blocks today and doing a little tidying around here. Tomorrow morning I'm taking my sister out for a little daytripping. Going to visit a lavendar farm and a dairy as well. Then it's over to my son's for a grand child's birthday party. Looking forward to that. :)
