    Aloha everyone,

    @wiseowl Howlett's is one of my favourite places. The gorillas are amazing and they do a lot for them and can usually move them back into the wild as a whole family. They have an enormous farm out in Africa to use as a half way house. I clearly remember one time that I was standing there looking and the Silverback came within about 10ft and sat down and just stared at me. I felt as though he was looking into my soul! I was back there about nine months later and he came right up to the wire, nodded at me and put his hand gently on the wire in front of me and then walked away. Eerie! :hate-shocked: He probably thought I was one of the family :heehee:

    We have a friend over from Japan today and the forecast is very sunny. :blue thumb:

                        @Gail_68 I'm not worried about being bunged up, but if I put on little felt shoes with curly toe fronts, I might pass for the 8th dwarf, Gassy :heehee:

                        Actually I only ate about an ounce. Been grating some sharp cheddar for making cheese bread in the a.m. and will probably sneak a pinch of it before adding to the dough :)

                          We had a good day yesterday but the visits to GC members were all too short. The family visit was good but the journey down was fraught with bad road conditions due to accidents. The homeward bound journey was completely clear and a very easy 89 miles in 90 minutes. :blue thumb:

                          We have a friend coming today so I shall see about sorting out food soon.
