                  Humble apologies...
                  I was concerned when I said ...."maybe Skimmia sp." as I expected to see remains of flowers berries and there were non. I was positive it wasn't Rhodo.

                  Pittosporum tobita nana fits perfectly esp the light coloured central vein.
                  A super evergreen shrub.
                  Well done for accurate answer rather than my wrong suggestion.
