:gaah: - the devils rabbit bumbles :heehee:

Squid, courgette, birds eye chillies, lemon grass all stir fried with sesame oil and my (very) garlic infused rapeseed oil. I then added rice (cooked with kaffir lime leaves) and beaten egg, fried the lot quickly before adding a splash of soy sauce and strips of spring onion.

Fairly simple today. Made a very nice asparagus soup done with coconut milk. Had that 90 minutes ago. Now I'm just waiting for the rice to cook to have my next course of Naga Lamb curry. I'll be doing a rhubarb and blackberry crumble later tonight.

Very nice, it's very late to have food, do you always have it that late?

From my point of view, no time is too late to eat. :) If I've had a busy day and then go to one of my bridge clubs in the evening, I may not cook my dinner until I get back at 11.30 p.m. :noidea:

Last night I had me dessert at midnight.

I agree, I certainly would not be able to digest even simple food at that time, let alone spicy fare. We typically eat around 7-7.30. In saying that, t'other can eat anything at any time! :rolleyespink:

I'm a bit more unusual than most people as I don't sleep (1 or 2 hours max as I have a quick doze in an armchair around 2 a.m.) and never go to bed. How do you think I manage to get all the things I do, done? :heehee:

Apart from the garden and going on holidays, I'm on 14 committees, run three clubs, am president of the Chamber of Commerce, do voluntary work, look after some disabled people and give consumer advice. I also run seminars and a lot of other things. So life is just a steady stroll since I retired 18 years ago. :old: :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Now that is neither here nor there for me ... not lunch or dinner. I do have tea and perhaps a small snack then. Working full time all my (working) life, it was the usual sandwiches for lunch and a meal when I got home in the evening after I prepared it.

Used to be the same for us when hubby worked, but got made redundant 14years ago. He decided to go semi retirement and having golden retrievers, we changed our meal times.
