    Hello!

I have started growing what I thought was meant to be a green pepper...they started green in colour, turned black and are now brown but still look too small to be a green pepper. Is this normal?

    Many thanks,
    Sam

Sounds like a Chocolate Douglah. A very hot chili. Welcome to the forum!

Well it looks like a kidney to me.
But I'm sure its an OK pepper, although not what you thought you was buying perhaps.

All peppers start green but usually ripen to a different colour if you leave them long enough.
