Just had a walk round. Garden is in a mess but no real damage as such and now remember the good reasons for buying a Rhino greenhouse and getting a professional to build her. Absolutely fine which is a great testament to the design and build to withstand some serious winds. My Dahlias are smashed to bits but they were getting towards the end anyway and my herbaceous borders are flattened in places, but like wise they were nearing the end of their season too. A big cleanup tomorrow will be needed but all in all could have been a lot worse.

It's been windy but can't complain compared to others. A few roads have been blocked due to fallen trees but nothing major. I haven't been down to check the greenhouse yet but :fingers crossed:

We still haven't had any rain so the sprinkler is being kept busy.

Temperature at 5 a.m. was 63.7F but at almost 8 a.m. it is down to 62.1F :noidea:

No breeze or winds here at the moment. It didn't start raining until around 1pm this afternoon and up to now there's been a total rainfall of 22.5mm which is the highest level in a day this year. The highest temperature today has been 55f but has now dropped to 54f. There's more rain to come tonight with Storm Bronagh so the present Garden Weather Station rainfall reading will no doubt get a lot higher.:dunno::coffee::snorky:

After a pretty decent day the wind and the rain is lashing down now.....at times the rain has been very intense. Storm Bronagh is a most unwelcome guest.....spreading eastwards too and forecast to clear here in the early hours.

Worth remembering though that some horrific weather is currently affecting many parts of the world ....what we have is nothing in comparison.:noidea:

It’s blowing a blinking gale & chucking it down here.
I’ve just been outside to check on the hens & fences, all ok so far :fingers crossed:.
I don’t like the wind, it scares me, hopefully it won’t hang around too long!
