    It has been very windy overnight with just a hint of rain - but not enough for the garden. It's currently 57.2F, still windy but no longer a gale and is dry.

        Torrential ran at times and very windy last night. Sunny morning when I opened the gates then a heavy shower from nowhere.:noidea: Will be fun n games with the weather today.
        Despite this no damage in the garden and tall perennials seem reasonably intact :)

                Blinking ‘eck! The wind is awful :sad:, I ended up having to go out to secure one of the hen runs :phew: fortunately Kev was up & helped me, we both got absolutely soaked :yikes:. It’s still windy this morning but it’s stopped raining.
                The hens are running around shouting! I suspect they will get under the conifer trees & shelter soon.

                          Yesterday was too windy for me to carry on mowing the wild area as the poplar trees were throwing branches at me :hate-shocked:. The wind has dropped now but still not seen any rain. I've checked our forecast and it says that we shall have rain from lunchtime and it will continue for 24 hours. :blue thumb:
