Liquid sunshine and lots of it:) Perfect day for sorting out my wardrobe:snorky: I have lots to do in the garden and this welcome rain should make the tasks a bit easier. Maybe later I'll get out there and do something.

After about 24 hours of light but steady rain, ended about 2 p.m. yesterday, the garden is looking somewhat better - but it still needs a lot more. There are areas where I still can't get the fork into.

Once the rain stopped the sun came out and brought the temperature up to 59F. This morning it's 38F but gloriously sunny.

There was a touch of frost on the cars this morning but it's now 64F and feeling much warmer in the sunshine.

Been a glorious day  Very warm, no wind ...lovely :)

No time to garden until later today so went looking for things to cut down..... lobelias Hadspen Purple and Tania, Phlox David, crocosmia Lucifer and others felt my secateurs
Removed a group of white cleome (flowered for a long time but I'm not enamoured with it so wont grow again). Cut down salvia patens, divided tubers and potted up, trimmed back lawn edges, dead headed dahlias, heleniums and Tithonias.
Planted out a few stocks and wallflowers......loads more waiting in the veg patch
A fine increasingly warm week ahead so will be planting out lobelia Tupa that have been growing on in 5 litre pots.....ditto with Campanula Iribella and others :)
