    We've had a lot of the big harvest spiders indoors over the last few weeks. Those I really don't like!

              We don't need that just yet please although I'm promised some snow here next weekend. Much too early!

                I agree it is much too early, then again anytime is much too early for snow. We have some on the horizon also. :frown: I cringe every time I hear Bing Crosby sing I'm dreaming of a white Christmas. Yeah, well, come and shovel the stuff Bing!

                  Yes, but it was a different type of snow in those days :heehee:.

                  The song was written 77 years ago by Irving Berlin but the tune is rather melancholy as he, apparently, was thinking of his baby son who died on Christmas Day 90 years ago.

                        It does not seem all that long ago we were complaining about the heat. Winter wastes no time in getting into upstate New York.

                              Went to Swanage this afternoon as the wind had dropped (a bit!) and it was sunny.
