    There were clear skies last night so I was in the Observatory until around 2.30am and the temperature dropped to -4f and there was ice on the inside of the Dome roof. This morning there was bright blue skies and not a cloud to be seen with a temperature of 32f, with the bird bath water and the Wildlife pond surface frozen. For a brief period the temperature rose to 48f but then dropped to 46f for the rest of the day. Right now the cloud has moved in, the temperature is 36f and the pressure reading is 995hpa.:coffee::snorky:

        Another clear, calm day after a frosty start with the temperature rising to 8C/46F in my sunny back garden. The front not doing so well at 5C/41F. Currently -1C/30F.

          It started raining about midnight, and has gone on most of the night....

            Yesterday was another sunny but cold day. When I went out last night at 6 p.m. the temperature was 35F (1.7C) but when I returned around midnight it had soared to 39F (4C). This morning it's 42F and just a little damp.

                              The rain was fantastic!! We had 28mm of rain - the first significant steady rainfall in over 6 months. Maybe I can stop having to top up the pond every week...

                              ... having said that, we have a grand total of 2mm forecast over the next 10 days.

                              Today is cold and icy, with clear blue skies.
