    Morning all, didn't know about this thread!!

    I know it's mad isn't it @Flumpy , get a couple of days closure and some start to stockpile!!

    Well all this leaf raking ,here and at my Dad's, has messed up my shoulder.Had a course of physiotherapy and had them injected too earlier in the year. Hoping I haven't undone all their good working and that it is only muscle strain...fingers crossed.

    We could be in for sleet today, so might be a day for indoor jobs.

    Might do some research into shade loving plants. We don't get much shade in our garden but one side of my Dad's does so now that I have taken over the management of it I had better find out what to plant!!:planting:

          @Flumpy - nice to see you have found the morning thread; as you will find, @ARMANDII and myself are not usually morning folks around here, and @shiney never seems to sleep!

                Hello @Fat Controller, it's good to be back:) But.... it's even better to have you back here with us and to see that you are well on the road to recovery after your traumatic health issues :dbgrtmb:. My heartfelt good wishes to you and your family.

                I have been looking in now and then to see what you've all been up to, but what with madly hectic family commitments and the absolutely gorgeous summer that was perfect for being out and about the time has flown by. Plus the fact that I have also recently taken on the job of looking after my 93yr old Dad's rather large garden as well as our own!

                          Aloha everyone,

                          I have an extremely busy day today. Made and received 14 phone calls already and haven't started on the paperwork. I'm waiting for someone to turn up to quote for cleaning the gutters and the car port and pergola roofs. Then have two reports to write, go out to lunch, a meeting this afternoon, taking Mrs Shiney to the hospital this early evening, playing in a tournament tonight - and just to fill in a bit of time I'll do some hovering, washing floors, iron, changing bedding etc. :heehee: Oh, I see that the bird feeders need filling and the greenhouse will need watering.

                          So I may find a bit of time to relax. :whistle: :snorky:

                            Hello @shiney I have made one phone call which lasted for 20 minutes,due to getting through 36 different options,have taken Penny for a walk,went to Tescos,visited a sick friend and now I have lunch to prepare,while that is cooking I have two beds to change(well not the beds just the sheets) that should take yours truly through till 12.30:)
