I was truly spoilt!:box: A couple of pairs of 'gardening' trousers, some beautiful handmade ( by one of our sons girlfriends) wine glass charms/ tags, homemade chutney (from another
girlfriend...different son!:blue thumb:), beautifully framed photos of sights seem by one son during his travels, my favourite perfume, shortbread, money ( spent already in my head on seeds and plants:heehee:) and chocolates!!! So very kind of everyone indeed.:wub2:

Absolutely nothing. You don't get Santa when you're the only human in the house.

Nowt, as it's only Miss Jiff and Me, no friends or family so we will buy something that will both use , just like a big treat once a year

I'm just content to be with my wife this Xmas ; following last years cancer scare and the following all-clear in February she now faces imminent hip-operations .:frown:
2019 should see her emerging from the 'dark tunnel' she has been in recently .:blue thumb:

I bought my wife four nighties from M & S, four orchids, two from M & S and two from a garden centre. I also bought her a new Stressless leather chair, delivered a couple of weeks ago. plus a new leather sofa, which is really just for the house.

She bought me my usual Decleor, shaving stuff.

We're not big on Christmas presents, belonging to the "'ave it!" generation.

This year I bought my new leccy piano, plus new stand for it, a new leccy golf trolley, a golf bag, winter wheels and a new driver.

No change out of several thousand pounds, but no complaints.

Mrs S had a tennis encyclopaedia and I had a couple of Pendragon cds (yes cds!!)
never spend much at Christmas. Apart from something from our son and daughter in law when they come tomorrow, that's it.

I have a present from me to me - a brother label printer, bought mainly for labelling plant marker/labels.
I got a couple of rather nice single malts, jelly beans (the tasty ones - love 'em), the early present of the caudex, a selection of chutneys and a few other bits. My wife got a selection of echeveria seeds from me, a succulent book from her parents (selected by me) and lots of other non- plant related stuff.

The echeveria seeds are now sown, along with 16 different variety of cacti. Its a bad do when your dining room table is full of trays of seeds and you have Christmas dinner at the kitchen table. Its all about priorities, I guess and it was just the two of us for Christmas dinner.

Reminds me. I recently binned both my Halliwell movie guides I bought in 2000. The small print was getting harder to read every year and all the information is on IMDB.
