We holiday on Tenerife, Los Cristianos , quite regularly . The second year we were there , half way through the week , the Island of Gomera suddenly appeared to my astonishment ! It must be shrouded by sea mist quite often .

I'm afraid they all have their noses in the trough, dont even know what my MP stands for regarding Brexit, they dont always want to say.

I've heard this no vote, no right to complain, thing before, to me it dont make sense, how else can we complain other than by not voting, if we vote and go for the loser, yeah great we can have a good moan, but who is going to listen, if we vote and go for the winner, then that is the time we have no right to complain in my reasoning.;)

You have a point there @pete - if everyone abstained from voting as a way of expressing their feelings, might that not be more productive than standing in the street with a placard or something?

On that note, I read something on Twitter earlier - one of my least favourite people Anna Soubry approached Leave protestors outside parliament and thanked them for their civilised protest, and there was apparently even hugs and selfies (hate them!) and a bit of a natter after such a tough week.

Now, I absolutely do not hold with her politics, nor how she has (in my opinion) attempted to betray the majority of the Brexit vote - but, her actions there are commendable, and perhaps a good example to us all about how we should be pulling together.

She has been one of the MPs who in my book has not been pulling together, she is a remainer and has always said she was, but she has done everything she possibly could to stop us leaving.
She is one of the main contenders for the "MP who knows best" accolade of the year award.
                  Rsole she is.

I agree @pete - but, with all the disagreement, division and some downright nastiness that this whole mess has created, her actions do have to be commended; and I say that as someone who would struggle to pee on her if she were on fire.

(the irony here is deliberate for those that might require a sense of humour transplant, and of course I would not wish anyone to be on fire - peeing on people is also not my thing)

On the other hand, if you don't vote, it's taken to mean that you can't be **sed. In France you have the option to submit a 'spoilt' vote which clearly states that you're peed off with all the options. Good system :blue thumb:

Been a lot of barracking of MPs during this whole Brexit thing by the public, on both sides, been unable to hear interviews outside the houses of parliament on many occasions mostly due to remainers, but when poor old sourberry gets it in the neck and someone calls her a Nazi things change.
It gets talked about in Parliament and people start to have a go at the police.

No, she pulls strings that one.

Or a well-orchestrated publicity stunt. Take your pick :dunno: She's a politician!
