Which they won't like as according to the BBCN and CNN Business they are, strangely, not in a good state and are teetering on the brink of recession.

Exactly. And thats why Merkel is finished. The Germans have had enough of Europe too. They know it was them and Britain that bankrolled it.
The rise of the AFD proves this. They will get stronger. Europe is about to change rapidly and it wont be nice to see. The French can bleat on and on but as they only take from Europe .
Eastern European countries and Italy are starting to have talks about working closer together. A split is coming. We had better get out now before the brown stuff hits the fan...

@Loofah I've seen that movie a couple of times. Quite enjoyed it. We need something lik that to happen here too.

Brexit is a bit difficult for people over here to understand as to why it is so complicated. We essentially had that hee. The US told us all to go sit and if they want something from us, they'll pretty much tell us how much they'll pay.

I cannot imagine trying to untangle a multinational agreement. I once read an article that supposedly explained the issues and was supposed to be a simple read. It made averything as clear as mud...

Wrong. It is this country that is up to its neck in shino. When are these career opportunists morons going to get it - this is the deal for now, that is it. The idiocy of these tossers defies comprehension - BoJo actually suggested "keeping the good bits" of the deal, getting rid of the backstop, and "actively preparing for a no deal" . The man and his chimps in arms are fools.

Agreed, longk. I can't understand the gleeful attitude of some folks on both 'sides' that the WA has been rejected. Surely no-one in their right mind wants this appalling mess to drag on any longer than it has already, or than it would do if the deal had been accepted. Is dislike of the PM so overwhelming that any amount of destructive manoeuvring and posturing, which can only damage the UK further, is applauded?
The French government has been actively preparing for a 'no deal' for months, in terms of protecting both it's citizens in the UK and UK nationals living in France. Which is a bloody sight more altruistic, responsible and reassuring than the behaviour in London! Pardon my French :heehee:

Teetering on the brink of recession is infinitely preferable to staring into the abyss though. :gaah:

                            What a mess!
JC wants an election now obviously, but what can he offer? The EU aren't going to be comprising, why should they? They didn't want us to leave.
As a fan of political history I'm enthralled, as a citizen of the British isles/ Europe I'm worried :frown:
:fingers crossed: Those that are elected to do the best for our country see sense and stop with the power games. This shouldn't be about who's in power. It's about what is best for our country :dunno:
