I honestly don’t think I can listen to much more of this! What the heck is wrong with the people who are suppose to run this country? I feel like I’m back at school in the playground! Corbyn is having a little tantrum & won’t speak to May....oh my lord how childish, there was a report saying he was slamming doors.....& he wants to run the country? I’m not sure he could run a tap!
I feel really sorry for May, she looks absolutely blinking exhausted...I know she’s not pulled off a deal but at least she’s trying to get people round the table to talk, even if it’s in the eleventh hour!
Im getting rather irritated by the people who are stockpiling food, toilet rolls, paracetamol & toiletries that’s just ridiculous.
I was listening to the radio last week & the presenter was talking about people going to the doctors because they were so stressed about Brexit.... getting stressed isn’t going to help, yes I realise businesses are going to struggle & there’s going to be causualties but we will eventually (hopefully) get through this.
Then last but by no means least there’s talk about us voting again....where is that going to get us?? What about if we get the same vote as we have now? How is it right to have another vote because we haven’t got the result ‘some’ people want??

Sorry I’m rambling & like many others I don’t really understand it all, all I can see is a huge mess which is going to cause all sorts of problems for the years ahead whichever way we go :thud:. I’m going to play with some asparagus :heehee:

We are so fed up of hearing about Brexit and all the arguing going on about it that we no longer have the news on at six but we/I would rather watch channel 26 with the Scott twins buying and selling houses and it never fails to amaze me how hunky Drew gets the makeover done in four weeks and the dressing of said property is pretty awesome.I said to Mr Kandy if prospective buyers love the refurbs so much I wonder what their own houses look like lol..:snorky:

Going back to Brexit there has only ever been two lady PM’s as far as I can remember and they both seemed/seem to be trying their hardest to bring the country to its knees and we are still no nearer to a resolution unless I am missing something:snorky:

I read on the news that Jeremy Corbyn has written to MP's telling them not to communicate with the PM until she takes a No Deal Brexit off the table.

I hope they reply, as is customary when receiving a letter from someone like him, and their response should be quite succinct - 'Eff Off' or similar should do it

The MPs definitely need the fact of a no deal bregzit hanging over them, the reason they want it taken out is so they can waffle on and decide nothing from here to eternity.

I'd not remove the the fear of a no deal, infact I'd put the whole lot, (Jeremy Corbyn, in bloody chains if necessary), in a locked room and not let the sods out until they came up with a proper plan.
They said they wanted the final say.
So NOW LETS HEAR IT, you bunch of useless individuals, grow up and get your ar*es in gear.

Aye, that and the fact that if a No Deal was taken off the table, the EU would have even less impetus to give us a decent deal.

Two years ago, the government should have started all their planning as though we were leaving without a deal, then once that had commenced, gone to the EU and said "OK, we are leaving, we are preparing to do so without a deal - - we would like a deal, you would like a deal - give us a call when you have knocked one up and we will take a look at it" and then walked away........

Trouble was everyone threw their hands up in total despair at even a hint of a no deal Bregzit from the government.
None of those stupid individuals even considered that it was possibly a negotiating ploy.
Either I'm bloody stupid or they are, its probably me.

But you always ask for more than you expect to get,and you always have the ace, the divorce settlement in hand.
No deal, no money, up yours.

I still think we need another referendum, on Mays deal or no deal. That useless bunch will never be able to come up with a deal (agreeable with the EU) that can command a majority in the house, imo.

Trouble is, they wouldn't do it only on those terms Freddy - it would be including a Stay option too, without doubt.

I would also question that even if they DID post it with only the two leave options, what they would do if it was a 52% / 48% split again?

The 52% would win, just like they did last time. The problem we have now is different factions with their own interpretations of Brexit, hence all the problems. Voting on an actual outcome (Mays deal or no deal) is very specific. That said, I’d imagine it would be highly unlikely, a 52%/48% split.

I agree, they probably wont come up with anything acceptable to the EU, not now they have us on our knees, we have more or less given in, in their eyes now.

But I dont think a referendum on May's deal would really solve anything, personally I've not read all the 500 pages, so am probably as ill informed as I was at referendum No1.
I just want out, if it takes another 2, 3 or 4 yrs, I want out.
Some light at the end of the tunnel would do me.

I think that there are three camps - those that are trying, those who want a second vote and then those who genuinely do want a hard Brexit.

That is cold comfort to the ones who do lose their livelihoods and more.
