Brexit -am I stupid or what

It seems to me that those twats will never agree on the way ahead. Someone will always object. Time to take it out of their hands...

 

Not being very political ,we are obviously a divided nation ,just like America.
That is democracy at work ,or not working.

As I said to my American neighbor ,”You have had 2000 years to sort yourself out but we have had considerably longer”

All very close,did the electorate get all the facts before voting. Were promises made kept ?

If we need to rerun the first one because it was so close or the people were "too dumb" to understand what they were doing then why not rerun the second and third ?

 

Typical Britain, Wee Tam. It's a miracle we ever get anything done. We have some of the greatest brains in this country. Our ability to talk....talk.....talk and to go on talking appears to be our jewel in the crown.

It was circa 45% conservative, 41% labour. From memory it was 45.6 v 41.9

 

I think they're all in only 2 camps, those that are trying and those that are very trying.

As far as he is concerned leaving on March 29th, even with no deal, is imperative as parliament has an agreement with those who voted leave. What complete and utter small balls! There was no mention of March 29th in the referendum - it is merely political expediency from the Rees-Mogg champagne swillers (yep - Rees-Mogg hosted a champagne party for leading Brexiteers after Theresa Mays crushing defeat) in the pursuit of their own agenda! It could be extended without beaking any agreement with the electorate. If the EU believe that the UK parliament could pass it then they will agree to an extension, if they believe that it will not pass they will refuse. They are very clear however (and have been all along) that this is the only interim agreement on the table.
Best bit of the interview comes about 10mins 45secs in when Fox tries to bullpoo Nick Robinson over trade figures and promptly gets shot to pieces with the true facts from Nick Robinson.
Still, it's good to know that he is working hard to 'replace' half of our overseas trade with the dregs of the world markets (whom as it happens we already have deals with anyway as part of the EU)! Just to be clear, I'm not saying that we will lose all of our trade with the EU. But neither am I spouting garbage about 'new deals' like Brexiteers do when what they actually mean is mere continuation of deals that we are already part of.

 

Career politicians that care only about their jobs and dont care about the country. The UK negotiators must have been the wettest in history. So scared of offending someone somewhere they failed miserably.
Of course maybe they deliberately set out to make a mess of it hoping the British public would give up and accept being ruled by the mighty Belgians , Estonians, Maltese, etc etc.

 

They can buy them from Yorkshire, Rockware glass, United Glass in Essex, i used to deliver bootles to the brewerys in the south west, there's even a train that will take them from Essex to Scotland so shouldn't be a problem !!!
