Good morning all clear sky and light wind temp. -3c up to 2c

Sharp frost and sunny later.

 

No snow here still, lovely and sunny not even a stirring of breeze. They still have us down for snow tonight......but not holding my breath on that!! High of 5C with a low of 0......not a minus in sight today!

Oops forgot to add that we do have a heavy frost at the moment

 

No ice, frost or snow here. Dry too but heavy rain is on its way; this rain is forecast to turn to snow eastwards and northwards. Looks like we will escape the real cold weather tomorrow too and then temps are going to rise ​

 

BRRRRRR!

 

We had light snow most of yesterday, which meant that I had to clear snow from our long sloping drive three times, so that we could get in and out. Even going out with the snow-shovel in the car, so I could clear the drive before driving down to the house!
The last trip out last night - to an open forum meeting about how we will be afffected by Brexit, by the British embassy - meant driving back over icy roads, but we avoided all the normal skid-pans.

Overnight we had -4c and clear. Now we have freezing fog, temp of -3c, and more snow forecast for overnight. Joy! Joy!!

 

Interesting meeting @Sian in Belgium ....I wish they could tell us back in the uk mainland how we’d be affected too! Lol

 

Hi Snorks, Sian was the lucky, informed one, although I believe there have been meetings locally here, too. On balance, I'd rather have frost and sun (what's sun??) than everlasting drizzle and gales. Might as well have moved to Wales..

Crazy weather here. Just driven back home from 8 miles or so further east from me; thick heavy snow, driving conditions bad, some cars stuck, all white yet here in the west it is snow free and sunny. That's Cornwall for you.
Take care those of you experiencing ice and snow on the roads

 

They couldn't, @Snorky85 ....
....so we just have to carry on, not knowing if we can stay in the country, if we can work, if we can own property, if we can return here if we visit the UK, if we loose our pension rights, etc ... all as of 30th March. But hey, it doesn't affect us, does it??
(Sorry - a touch sensitive subject right now)
