£14m for non-existent ferries isn't too bad.

Hi @wiseowl You would need to bring some compost with you to get good quality soil. The regolith on Mars is good enough for growing a lot of crops and plants but the Phoenix Mars Lander measured the pH at 8. I think roses tend to prefer it around 7.

The pH on the moon is slightly lower but has less nutrients. I may have a few plots left on the moon. The price has gone up recently because of Brexit but, for you, I may have a special deal I could offer. So many people are thinking of moving!

 

Will I have to pay extra baggage for the compost

 

No. We have a garden centre planned for the first land sales area and we're planning to give special discounts to Gardeners Corner members.

 

@Jenny namaste No problem, we can do that offer. Do you want a desert view or a desert view? The lakes aren't scheduled to be dug for a year or two. The local residents' association will have a big influence in where they're dug - no mosquitos guaranteed. Membership of the residents' association is £5 per year, payable to me as chairman.

 

I'm taking advance bookings for the broadband, water, electricity and transportation services. £1000 payable today, and then only £9000 per year (variable) thereafter. Service level is not guaranteed, particularly until we get infrastucutre in place, but then living in the UK you are used to that...........

 

Yes, they will all be in the Shiney Shop and we shall be encouraging the manufacturers to set up factories there.
