Very very windy here; lost a pane from the greenhouse.

 

Little storm of hail

 

Started reasonably calm and dull, but as soon as the sky started to clear the wind got really bad, worst I've seen this winter.
Calmed down slightly now but still blowy.

Been dry and fairly sunny, just ruined by the wind.

Still windy and a few showers have drifted in too!

 

Had the four seasons in one day here,hail rain,snow and blow..Oh and a tad of sunshine thrown in for good measure.

 

Today was a repeat of yesterday but lacking the sunshine. Grey with snow showers and a little less windy, 2C/36F.

 

Yesterday afternoon we had snow but it didn't last.

It's a 4 seasons day here...

We were woken periodically through the night by heavy hailstorms, the last being before 5am (had to get up to let the dog out for a pee, because it was too wet-n-windy last thing, she wouldn't go!). Nothing after getting back to bed.
When I got up at 6.30, the grass was speckled white with hailstones, some quite substantial. I think some greenhouses might have suffered- certainly glad I hadn't put my plastic cloches out, I think they'd have been torn/blown away!
In the past 2 hours we've had sunshine, rain, strong gusts of wind, and snow! It's now dry, but cloudy, and 2c.
About to wrap up warm, and go round the garden to inspect the damage. Who knows what the rest of the day will hold!
