Wind has died down a bit, heavy rain has stopped and now occasional sun.

 

Sun has just dared to show it's face at 4:30.

Despite having the heating still on I just can't get warm, think it is because we got soaked several times this morning doing the grocery shop at 3 different shops. At one shop nobody could get to their cars, the rain was so heavy you couldn't even see across the car park!

Still at least we have a nice ending to an utterly horrible day!

 

Apparently, it's coming back - only worse...

It's 11.00pm and it may be "the lull before the storm." Only a gentle breeze and no rain.

It's our golf club winter competition final tomorrow, for which I've qualified, (I think if you've a pulse, you qualify, given some of the scores in the rounds). But the MET's promising a bit of rain and wind gusts up to 48mph. Not ideal conditions to get a decent score, So the jury's out on whether I and a couple of like minded friends will bother to play.

 

The wind is 'getting up' now. It's been pouring down for 30 minutes.
I've heard the watering cans launch themselves down the garden, any loose pots have gone flying. Still it's not to bad. Stay safe if you are in the worst of it

Yesterday at 10am got soaked walking berry. At that time he has a longer walk so got more soaked. It eased up in the afternoon, so managed to get my jacket dry before the next walk. All the joys of having dogs.
