        Aloha everyone,

        The fire service are coming first thing this morning to do a safety check and install new smoke alarms. It's a free service that they offer. An extremely good idea. :blue thumb: Although I check our smoke alarm regularly they said that smoke alarms may say they are active and working properly but after about ten years the sensors are not very good. The alarms should be totally replaced every ten years.

        I'm hoping the promised rain comes today as the ground is now almost impossible to dig. Sunny at the moment. If the fire people finish early enough I may just have time to do a little mowing before having to go out. I don't think the neighbours would appreciate me mowing at 5 a.m. in the morning otherwise I would have done it by now.

          How is everyone today?

          As the song states....'what a difference a day makes '
          :yikes::yikes: -3 tonight down here!!!

          Dumbo was lovely yesterday...I had tears welling up in my eyes at times. So love happy ever afters.:):dbgrtmb:

          We have a bit of rain heading our way over the next 3 days,not sure exactly how much we will actually get but we desperately need some. All the water butts are now empty as hubs cleaned them all out yesterday.
          So bring in on.....we're ready and waiting!!:dbgrtmb:

          Hopefully I will get to sort out the last remaining border and then after the expected rains I can give them a final mulch.

              Hi everyone! :spinning: It started off raining this am, and now it’s glorious sunshine but cold, my water but is still full as we have only had a week of dry weather but cold.

              Hoping to get some gardening done this weekend all being well :fingers crossed:

                        So does ours @shiney . I meant it had been off due to the high temps ....but clicked back on yesterday :dbgrtmb:

                        Morning all ..nippy, nippy night last night!!:yikes:

                        Lovely sunny start here , due to last until 4pm then some more rain is due. We certainly need it too.:blue thumb:

                        Off to spend another day tackling ground elder at my Dad's in a minute.....fun!
