Surely just fill in some forms ahead of travel and have complete manifest for inspection?

    Tusk suggesting a flexible extension!

For all the £bn spent on prep, the ports still aren't ready... Possibly the first thing I'd have made sure of when article 50 was triggered was that our portways were ready asap! If we're leaving it needs to be done afterall... Just another thing for me to be cheesed off about! (and British cheese at that!)

yea, but those forms currently don't exist, nor does the way they are processed

it's a very sensible solution in my opinion. Gives time for an election or a referendum to break the deadlock.

Neither of those things is required to break current deadlock; Theresa May is creating it so replacing her would achieve the same overnight. Election is utterly unwarranted.

A 12 month delay is not sensible. It won’t change anything from today’s situation.
Why do some many people mention the £350 million on the side of the campaign bus? Of course none of it has been given to the NHS because we haven’t left the EU yet and we are still paying Europe:noidea:

because it was an out and out lie that swung a few votes to leave?

The figure is far less, closer to 250million, of which the tax take since the vote has dropped by more than what would be enough to cover it anyway. Basically, the economic benefits of being an EU member means the tax the government takes is higher than if we weren't. High enough that it covers the cost of membership and some. That was always going to be the case but it was a lot less flashy than the vote leave campaign videos or the bus.

Can you point me to a source for your figures that show us being part of Europe directly contributed to more than 8.9 Billion Pounds in tax take please. £8.9 Billion being our net payment to europe (2017 Figure).

500million per week worse off per week just from the vote
Brexit costing UK £500M a week, study says
Bloomberg - Are you a robot?

465million a week from the financial times

even higher (800million) from your daily right-wing propaganda
Brexit news: How much has Brexit cost so far? STAGGERING numbers as second delay requested

Obviously, we don't have a UK with a remain vote to directly compare to a UK with a leave vote, so these studies are the best we can go off.

So the discussion with Corbyn is going nowhere. I'm shocked. No, really...
France want to see a plan on Tuesday but I'd rather like to see one myself! Fingers crossed France vote against an 'flextension' and help us over the threshold.
