That link was for the murder and not the pelosi rant as you well know. You obviously didnt see the statement being made to the journalists by pelosi and here fellow senator. You dismiss my comment as rubbish and at the same time state you never saw it or couldnt find it, that is rather sad.

Pelosi said she missed her good friend Mcguiness and made it clear she was on the side of the ira. Her fellow senator was banging on about how those "nasty" British troops once searched a bus he was on one night.

She continues to threaten the British.

Hi Shiney, they won't have booked anything yet as we don't know if there are even going to be any European Elections. They haven't reached the deadline yet for making a deal.

The trouble is that they may be too late to get anywhere to use as the polling station. Without a reserve on it, the hall may get booked by someone and then they're in the ....! Nowhere else has a car park and parking is so difficult that almost nobody would turn up - in place of the droves of people that would normally come along  :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

I always vote in elections otherwise I don't feel I have the right to have a go at the person who got voted in. I quite often tell politicians, in public meetings, what I think of what they're doing :rolleyespink:

That's a shame. Despite the ineptitude of the government et al, a wasted vote will never make sense to me.

You quite clearly said the following..................

Please explain how her words indirectly led to the death of Lyra McKee?

In what way does she threaten the British. All she has said is that any Brexit deal that threatens peace in NI would pose a problem as far as future trade deals between the UK and the US. I agree with the view that a return to violence in NI is not a price worth paying for Brexit.

@lolimac I do the same. I sometimes have to hold my nose and vote for the least worst but at least I did not let the worst one get a vote without mine negating it!

I think that about sums up what is wrong with politics in most of the western world, and why we are getting some strange results, everyone is fed up with politicians.

We shouldn't be voting for the least disagreeable R sole, we should be voting for the best, in your opinion of course.:smile:
The problem is, in our system, voting for a person does not necessarily negate an opposing vote.

If you live in one of the so called safe seats, and you dont like the R sole that you are stuck with there isn't really much point in voting, as your vote will not count.:frown:

Local council elections I am going to vote for the party that I think will do the best job on public services - I know for sure that they won't get in, because I live in an area that is about as safe as you can get for the incumbent party, but I would rather stick hot pins in my eyes than vote for that incumbent party.

As for the EU elections, the Brexit Party is getting my vote. Maybe, just maybe, if enough people vote for them, the message might actually get through.

Voting for the best r sole?!

There's lots of support for a local independent here; I doubt he'll get in as we're tory heartland but I think the number of votes he gets will be pretty high

There's rumour that the cross party talks have taken a turn for the better which presumably means someone caved and we'll be tied to EU rules in any deal

Well, I have to confess that I am at a complete loss as to how to vote tomorrow. This area is generally so deeply Tory that it is a surprise the roads are not coated in a blue topping - yet most people I speak to have simply had enough of them, one way and another.

Labour, well they are the logical tactical vote - as in, the only ones that would be traditionally likely to give the Tories a run for their money, and would also be the party I would usually vote for.... BUT - - and it is a big but - I am not content with the direction of the party, not least with Corbyn at the helm and to cap it off, not one of the local labour councillors have put any sort of biography or manifesto information out (or if they have, it is not easy to find). The remainders are UKIP (sorry, their tolerance of out and out racism is just not acceptable), Greens (I am no expert, but think my V8 kinda sits at odds with them) and that is it.

The only other option is to spoil my paper, but to do that is surely a waste of petrol to go to the polling station - if I were going to do that, I would be as well staying home?
