Won’t be a day in the garden but hope to plant out a few tulbhagia that were divided last autumn....they will assort with a group of ophiopogon nigrescens
Will have a check in the garden to see if storm Hannah has done any damage....from a distance all looks fine though

Thanks, yes I am feeling a tad better too ,but hubs is having a tough time shifting his chest infection but they can take a while

Will go and have a stroll around the garden to see if there is any damage from Hannah in a minute.

Bright, mild here.....but wet
A few jobs in the garden planned for today but hopefully later this afternoon when forecast sunny spells materialise
Mind you, the mild wet weather is producing lots of lush growth with some perennials seemingly doubling in size over recent days

I’m not too keen on the weather today, it’s turned chilly & it’s raining....I’m trying not to grumble we do need the rain, other than that all is well.

@shiney could you confirm that shineyland
Is the last bank holiday weekend? I’ve got that date in my diary but kev is convinced it’s the first bank holiday in May .

I shall catch up again soon...work has been very busy & as ever the ex battery hen page I admin for is extremely busy too!

Can't wait to get out there but sadly housework beckons first

Thankfully I am feeling 100% better today and.........no sign yet of husband's flu . He though is not too brilliant but slowly and surely is getting there, his cough has eased and his breathing is better, so all is looking positive!:bigthumb:

@shiney I wish I’d have known you were going to be in Elmswell, I could have directed you to the garden centre at woolpit, they have the most fabulous range of fuchsias. Pleased to hear you won your bridge match

So sorry to read you’ve not been feeling too well @Upsydaisy lets hope you are over whatever bug it was & you won’t get hubby’s Flu , take it easy today.
