Yesterday went to see my friend Keith. Somebody wanted some Easter cards,he was only asked the day before, we were rushing to get them made. He's told the person to give him more time.

      Not doing much today.

I hope it is nothing serious @Logan. It is always worrying when these things happen to our pets as they can't tell us if the ate something untoward or their tummy hurts. :doggieshmooze:

Thank you @Victoria he seems ok at the moment, very settled and waiting for his next meal at 10am then go walkies. When he's out i have to keep stopping him from licking the grass where other dogs have been, i think that he must have picked something up then.:)

Just finished my 4th week in a new job.

TUPE transfer which was handled very badly.( they are calling it TUPE Type bit there is no such thing). Stressful. New job is the old job done differently. New IT system incomplete, new rules and regs, an overall harsher and more expensive regime for customers. They ain’t happy! Information overload learning it all (or what we can for now). Only now starting to feel normal again.

Got home to a letter from new employer (who don’t know it’s good to actually talk) mentioning restructuring.....

Did manage 4 straight days in the garden over Easter though not that it looks much different for it as my plants are weeny things yet to produce the full, lush border I want.

                  Things could be worse.

Continued with my clear-up, post filling in the koi pool. As the garage is now "sorted" I started on my "office" (our box bedroom). I've chucked a lot of stuff out, including a flat-screen PC monitor and keyboard. But I'm still left with this. I'm sure I don't need all of it.

Also stuck in a corner, now "unplayable" is the guitar I've had from my teens. I just can't bring myself to throw it out.

Here pictured being played in 1958, by a teenage friend who sadly died two weeks ago. His son was going through his effects and found it and thought I might like a copy. I remember taking the photo in his parent's garden.

We've just spent the evening watching Katherine Jenkins. As there is no rush to get home, we are staying overnight.

There's a small wood at the back of the houses where we walk the boys and there's a brook that runs through the wood but it's prone to flooding in the winter so the council are trying to stop it flooding by making 2 backflow ponds and a small nature reserve with them.
2 days ago I saw 2 men doing surveys at the brook trying to work out which part floods. I said to him that I could tell him that and what part has been improved to the brook, but he said that it would be all on computer. He said that they're going to manually flood it to find out.

All that they have to do is ask the people who walk that way and the residents.

Today been to see my friend Keith, he's in good spirits and been printing out verses and inserts for his cards.
