Whoops sorry Moyra & Verdun! :)

Moyra hope your knee is ok and your not in too much pain, my mum used to use comfrey for the swelling, you can buy it at Holland and Barrett.

Hi Verdun what’s the weather like in Cornwall?

I would love to do your garden, not sure about living in a summer house :lunapic 130165696578242 5: maybe slightly too small and I don’t like spiders :ouch1: hope you have a lovely day today Shiney:spinning:

@Flumpy This is the summerhouse :dbgrtmb:. Shower room, separate toilet, underfloor heating, air-conditioning, lots of power sockets, TV coax socket, landline socket and a friendly cat that will force his way in given half a chance.

Good morning everyone. Flumpy no I shall remember that and see if I can get it locally as I cannot travel far with my knee as it is at the moment.

                  Good morning everyone:spinning:

Awww ..you know you love it @shiney , doing it every year you definitely must!!

Yes it is pretty hectic at the moment here too @Flumpy . Both our gardens are a good fair size ,here of course I have hubs helping too but at my Dad's it's just me. Once all the plantings are done over the next month I will relax a bit. I just feel the responsibility a bit overwhelming...my fault I know as I suggested taking on his garden, promising him I would bring back some summer colour that has be a bit lacking since Mum passed away. Just didn't realise that ground elder had spread to every single part of the garden....no chance of eradicating it but maintaining a 'neat appearance ' takes up the majority of my time!:yikes:

We'll get there :) Might post some pics eventually of his garden....just don't zoom it on the lovely ground covering greenery!!!:nonofinger:

                  Have a great day :)

                    Aloha everyone,

Guess what? I've been working hard on the garden - but Mrs Shiney has been working harder.

I spent two hours this morning doing the front verge of the empty house two doors away and have made a bit of an impression on it. We quite often use their wheelie bin so feel we should do something for it. I filled it completely with their weeds and leaves but the dustmen empty it on Wednesday.

The sprinkler has been on since 5.30 and I'll move it soon. Birds are happy as I've filled the feeders - and they have a nice shower to play in. The blackbirds, in particular, like running in and out of it.

                    Time for breakfast :)

Keep well and have a great day

                    Aloha!
