It was merely a connection @longk - possibly a wrong one in this case, I admit, but also quite reasonable when looking at what is being said and done by a lot of people who voted remain, who at the same time claim to be all for the rights of everyone and so on.

As for racial abuse - also not acceptable, ever.

I think you know me well enough to know that the term snowflake could not be further from the truth.

I think you just need to ask yourself one question.
If I was going about my business and someone threw something at me, or over me, in the street would it be a good laugh, or would you be a bit miffed.

Old two jags thumped the bloke that threw an egg at him, so I don't think he was well pleased.

There's a world of difference between egging or milkshaking a populist gobshite and throwing acid or other missile at the police, for me it is a nonsense comparison. If you take the argument further you get into who launched the first attack in a war which is ridiculous.

Would I be happy if it happened to me? Of course not and I fully sympathise with any of the victims lashing out and lamping the perpetrator, fair's fair afterall.

Ok so all politicians are fair game for the milkshake attack, anyone else we can add to the list.
Jeremy Kile perhaps, or perhaps any public person that you don't particularly like.
Who makes the decision who it's ok to bomb and who isn't.?

The terminology you use - 'bomb', 'throw acid' is a tad discomfiting. It suggests that you're intentionally being confrontational about this and intent to present the bleakest of circumstances. If the difference between a milkshake being lobbed in a Stu Francis or Noels House party gunging stylee and the threat of attacking police or throwing acid is not apparent then I am utterly appalled and unqualified to explain!

            So, back to Brexit?

@Loofah I think this milkshaking business is proof that there are a lot of stupid, immature people out there! Throwing anything, even a milkshake, at a person as an expression of dislike, is incredibly childish and undignified.:paladin:

Today watching some of PMQ's and the fall out afterwards I'm utterly disgusted...the woman is on a hiding to nothing with no support whatsoever...fair enough if her own party don't agree with what she has to say but at least turn up and argue their case...it's an absolute P take...embarrassing....

Have you good folks in UK got lots of choice? I got an A4 envelope stuffed with flyers from no fewer than 18 'parties' Eeek! In the end, though, I've whittled it down to three possibles and got until Sunday to fine tune

I aint got a clue how many choices we have, I'll just go along and have a look tomorrow.
I think the Liberals pushed something through my door along with Ukip, but other than that no one else has bothered.

It does make you wonder, should we be bothered.

Well, yes. Like I said before...it's not about voting for which bunch of self-serving gravy-train-riding 'b's get elected to Brussels. It's a way of getting a message across to the powers-that-be. I suspect the message to Macron's bunch will be extremely clear
