12°C and 14mm of rain overnight. Water butts filling nicely. Happy dances alround. Now I just want it a few degrees warmer.

 

Flippin' chilly this morning - heavy dense cloud and rain from the North . Brrrrr!!
Want Summer stuff now,

Won’t get tan topped up today

 

Rain!!...not as heavy as I had hoped but hey I won't grumble as long as it's running into the water butts and soaking into the ground.

Yes would nice if it was warmer.

Actually the rain is coming from the south, you would think it would be a warmer rain at this time of the year.

 

It's raining heavily now and it is warmer than before. But got soaked walking the boys, couldn't it rain at night?

 

4 hours of nice steady rain and still raining steady, must get bigger butts

Sunny earlier but then it went a bit grey. Quickly spread feed on the lawn and then watched it get watered in with the rain. Still raining right now and 15 degrees.

 

Yay - rain has stopped and there's a glimmer of bright light in the sky

Hi,

I'm still waiting for global warming to arrive in Huddersfield. Yesterday I received a good soaking whilst working at the top of our mountain; I've got my own personal cloud it being a constant companion I call him Blackie; Blackie has a sister called Gale and between them I could lose the will to live. After the soaking yesterday I came indoors to dry off then as Blackie was having a rest I went up the garden again and climbed over the dry (?) stone wall onto the lane; as I worked a lady was walking her dog and said to me what a pleasant day it was? I replied I'd just had a soaking and she was amazed not having seen any rain; I was up the mountain early this morning working flat out before Blackie put in an appearance; WOW I was just finishing shredding at 1 o'clock and down came the rain and it's still pouring down being the usual black hole.
