Good morning everyone. Pleased to say I have booked my car in at another MOT station for tomorrow morning at 9am.
Bit anxious about her getting through but all being well shouldn't be too much wrong with her. Well will have to wait and see. Have a good day all. keep warm and dry and above all safe and well. God bless.:wub2:

Morning @moyra , that good and I will keep my fingers crossed that she sails through her MOT tomorrow :fingers crossed::fingers crossed:

Today I will spend fixing some wind and rain damage , mainly re-staking or removing broken/ battered bits and bobs. At least we won't need to water for a while!:dbgrtmb:

        Have a great day:)

Hi everyone, weather dry here so far, just noticed a load of Fox gloves have started growing in my garden, I can’t remember planting them last year, are they safe to have in the garden?, I thought they where poisonous?.
Moyra hope you car sails through its MOT, I’m hoping I don’t get a hefty bill on my clutch :love30:.
Upsydaisy don’t do too much, have plenty tea breaks :coffee:

@Flumpy . I should imagine it is the birds spreading the seed although it has been somewhat windy so it is possible they have been air lifted into your garden. Yes they are poisonous but not if they are left alone.

I have my fingers crossed for my little car, she is ten years old in July and is still in remarkable condition bodywise. A lot of welding underneath was done last year so I am hoping it is still good. Mechanically she is also good starts at the first turn of the key everytime.
Have a good evening all, Goodnight, God Bless. :wub2:

 No I didn't do too much thanks @Flumpy as we still had our eldest son here with us until mid afternoon.....sad now he's gone, never get use to them leaving us and he left 16 yrs ago!!

Flumpy you'll be surprised at how many common garden plants can be potentially harmful, just make sure you don't accidentally ingest any and wash hands very thoroughly.:dbgrtmb:

Thanks upsydaisy, when they die down I think I may move them to outside my garden where no one will touch them. Awe hope you had a good time this weekend with your son, and treasure every moment:).
Moyra I’m keeping my fingers crossed for your car good luck :dbgrtmb:

                          Aloha everyone,

We had Mrs Shiney's brother that lives in Brazil staying until yesterday morning. Always a pleasant time.

It was sunny all day yesterday and had a good afternoon with friends and as it is sunny this morning we shall be taking a leisurely walk so we can relax after finally clearing everything from Open Day. It will be a week of leisure.

@Flumpy don't worry about foxgloves. Although poisonous I don't think there has been a case of poisoning for decades. Over half of garden plants are poisonous but with no incidences. Puppies can sometimes be caught out by them as they are inquisitive but are usually taught not to eat your flower beds. Cats have an inbuilt instinct to avoid them. Our neighbour's lovable but stupid Boxer has survived into adulthood but still hasn't learnt that stinging nettles sting - although he gets stung by them a couple of times a week!!! Unless, of course, he's a masochist :heehee:

Moyra, good luck with the MOT :dbgrtmb:

Keep well and have a great day

                          Aloha!
