              Never seen them where I was before, and there were 2, unfortunately it was the one with tatty wings that stayed to be photographed.

                    Went to my local bird hides that are 10 mins drive from home and there was literally nothing about, but the sunshine has brought out hundreds of butterflies - 2 Painted Ladies, 1 Red Admiral, 3 Small Heath, 15 Marbled Whites and hundreds of Meadow Browns.

                    Too hot to chase butterflies around in the wind, so ended up resting my telephoto lens on a field gate and taking pics of whatever was on the flowers in the meadow 1.15m from the end of my lens.

                        At the back of a bramble and with it's wings flat it was hard to see this Ringlet's rings!
