Tomorrow anyone wanting to read the temperature here will have to import a thermometer; it's forecast a whopping 29C



A&E will be busy due to sunstroke and shock; we aren't used to such temperatures.

Was warmer here today, still windy but not quite so bad and the wind seemed a bit warmer.
Tomorrow we get the forecasted heatwave, looks like it will be nearly as hot as a good few days were last year
Then Sunday, back to normal.
They even like to sensationalise the weather these days.

 

A repeat of yesterday, all day sunshine and hot without a breeze. The fool that I am was mowing the lawns in 27C/81F ......we're promised some rain tomorrow and Sunday.

 

Another scorcher... although other parts of Europe have it a lot worse.

I'm now siting under a large ceiling fan to keep cool, I don't like this heat as if I get to hot I pass out

 

Sweltering in the car going into town this morning. Everyone in the whole wide world had the same idea.....get the weekly grocery shop done early. Traffic jams everywhere.

Did buy some ice lollies this morning, anyone fancy one?

So true @Mike Allen !

We now plant all trees and shrubs with a watering tube in place, end of the tube just below the rootball. After 3-4 years, we remove the tube, ready for the next plant. You don’t have to use it, but when you need it, there’s nothing else to match it!
