It's an observation. Why the cat noises?

Is that the best you can do?

What is it that make football so bloody boring?
If you ask me, a complete non football person, it that off side rule.
Never understood why its there, the object of the game should be to get the ball in the opponents net, nothing more nothing less.
So if you dont foul anyone in the process I cant see why it exists.

Get rid of it and football just might be a little bit more exciting.IMO.

Without the off-side rule, the opposition could leave some one aside to assault the goalkeeper while the referee is somewhere else following the play.

It was a harsh, but a fair call.

Today, we (England) were outclassed by a better drilled team. With our woeful passing game, I am surprised we even managed to put anything in the opposition net.

But, overall, it was a good game (minus the fouls and cards at the end, of course).

In the future, please, please practice penalty shootouts and throw-ins more. And, practice not telegraphing passes (all England teams seem to pass in the direction they're looking).

I think if we are honest the best team won, but well done to England for getting this far.

USA did have the edge over our Lionesses. But our heads never went down after some unlucky decisions, and they fought to the last second. I really enjoyed the match. Well done ladies:dbgrtmb:

Hmmm. It is a rare occasion that I watch sports. Let alone soccer but I happened to see some of the match and I actually thought the gals were more interesting than the games played by the other gender. I was rooting for the English ladies because my Mother was English and it would be disloyal to do otherwise.

That said, I kept looking at the closeups of the gals and looking for signs of insanity. I enjoyed sports when I was young, but to me, choosing to run around in the heat for 90 minutes at any age, is darned odd.

I truly think I dislike "big sports" because of the aftermath. Having to suffer listening to the armchair critics after the battle is over is so difficult due to my internal BS detecter drowning out everything else around me!

                  Just my umble opinion :)
