Well, seems like we are down to the bit where the suspense kicks in:biggrin:
Its now getting like one of those silly game shows, where you get to the end, drum roll, then they say, we will tell you who won next month.:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Can anyone tell me why the hell it takes a month for the members to vote and get them counted?

I think we have had enough uncertainty in recent times without this stupid half baked delay.

You couldn't make it up how slapdash and pathetic this whole thing is becoming.

Have the vote tomorrow and tell us Monday which W***** has won, or is that too simple.

Period for campaigning to the tory members then accounting for time required for postal votes plus the counting.

I wonder how their turnout will be?!

Its takes a month for all jobs to be worked out (you scratch my back and I'l scratch yours)and the backhanders to be exchanged and for all the cheques to clear:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Well I would have thought by now most Tory members would know what they are both proposing so should have made up their minds already.
As for postal votes make them do it on line.

So, they reckon Boris will win :noidea:. Will he appoint David Davies as Brexit secretary?

There won't be much in the way of negotiating time as, at the moment, the EU can't agree on who will have the top jobs that are now up for grabs. The meeting yesterday ended in chaos. I don't suppose anyone in Brussels will nominate Nigel for the top job :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

The French won't allow a German to have it and vice versa. At the moment they're disagreeing over everything.

The climate change proposals in the EU have just fallen flat as the smaller Eastern European countries have vetoed them. We're the only country that has said we're going ahead with nil emissions by 2050 - and we're the ones that get the protesters interrupting a private event! They should go over to the other countries and harass them.

If and when we leave the EU, can we go back to imperial measurement and good old pounds, shillings and pence? that would completely confuse the younger generation!!!!:giggle:

Yes, bring back the farthing, h'apenny, a copper, threepenny bit, tanner, bob, florin, halfcrown, dollar, nicker, guinea, fiver, tenner - not to mention groat, monkey etc.

                    It's simple :heehee:

                      Hi,

Lots of the younger generation would struggle tying their own shoelaces. :)

I've been out of touch with the real world being in my workshop for the last few days so has Doris got the job yet?

                      Kind regards, Colin.
