Morning everyone, a bit noisy at the moment as there has been an accident on the motorway, can hear the sirens in the distance. Hope all are OK.

Lovely and sunny here again after a bit of a cloudy day yesterday.

Hectic week this week, have something going on every day.

I will do a bit in the garden this morning then I'm going to see my gorgeous 2yr old great nephew this afternoon. He's at the age where his antics are hilarious. Such a pickle!!

Hi all, is there any way I can stop magpies eating my strawberries?

 

I fleece mine....could net them, but I worry about birds, especially young ones getting hooked up it that.

 

Or, pick them every day Flumpy

I haven’t netted my blueberries this year but I pick every day and, so far, it works well and the birds swear at me for denying them their feast

It may well have been the hottest day today Wall to wall blue sky from early morning to now. An absolute delightful day

 

I pick mine daily but still fleece to safeguard the under ripe ones from all the beady bird eyes that seem to watch my every move!!

Fab day here too ....very warm

 

Thanks for the advise , my strawberries are not fully ripe yet .

Morning everybody, hope you are all keeping well.

Going over to my Dad's today to do housework and gardening....hate to think how all the plants that I planted are coping with not being watered. No doubt more will be going to the great compost heap in the sky!!
Hopefully my Aunt and Uncle are going to pop by too so that will be lovely.

Bone dry here, getting a bit worrying now
