            I dispute that! :heehee:

Hot, sunny and humid, 29C/84F in the shade. Early evening there was a good breeze for a couple of hours bringing the temperature down to 25C/77F but we're now back in the doldrums.

There are times when owning a leather suite has it's down side.:biggrin:

Staying downstairs to try and sleep, too hot upstairs. Still can't sleep, can't get comfortable.
Not getting any thunderstorms tonight but it should be a bit better in the morning.

It’s going to be much cooler today, according to my weather app.... just 34c...
The temperature was 27c when we went to bed at midnight (and very humid after the thunderstorms) and dropped to 23c at 7am. It’s already up to 25c...

We don’t get the extremes down here and today should be another pleasant 23 degrees or so.:)

still thunder rumbling in the distance. Cooler but still humid and the sun's peering through the clouds. Been raining quite a bit o'night - good for garden and it's 22C now. Must crack on a do a few chores before it gets too hot.

                                Hi,

Whatever the weather retirement sure is busy and full time. I've done the usual 3 supermarket shopping and have helped our neighbour to carry his unwanted hardwood staircase into our driveway; I'll cut it up for wood turning blanks; timber I don't need will go to a wood burning neighbour; I'm just having a mug of tea and a bickie before making a start?

The BBC forecast for last night was the end of the world for us but all I heard was a rumble of thunder; now if the BBC really want to forecast such doom and gloom and get it right I'll get my paintbrush out and start painting the bungalow exterior. Got to go; busy; busy; busy. Have a nice day everyone.

                                Kind regards, Colin.
