Ey..@Pete you could make a killing on this...you should be advertising it as a drip feeder:thumbsup: I've got two 'holey' galvanized watering cans that I place next to plants that need that extra moisture, just need topping up with rain water now and again, look more ornamental than a hose, Bobs your uncle and Fanny's your Aunt..:dbgrtmb: don't forget I want shares in this idea..60/40 but don't tell anyone of our idea.

On that basis we could clean up by making the holes 100% as in The King's New Clothes

@pete I'll give you a tenner for the holes, :) I can't stand anything galvanised. Scraping my nails on that is like scraping them on a blackboard. :ouch1:

mobility scooters! can we PLEASE make sure people using them are "Fit For Purpose"?
              ?

I have now got severe bruising on my already arthritic left ankle and when confronted, the offender said F/O!

Because of this dumb political correctness, I'm unable to mention age or gender but I can say the person was older than me and of the opposite sex! Ooops

Sorry to hear of your misfortune Vince. Recently I was forced to make a mad dash for a Supermarket loo. An eldery woman using a mobility scooter exited the self service area and I ended up across her lap. No apology from her.

For a time, I used a scooter. I made certain that I and it was fully insured. Mobility scooter users and Blue Badge users do often fail to read the rules.

Just got my Virgin Media bill, total £54.30 this includes 83p usage charge. My services are. Landline phone, seldom used and broadband internet, no TV or other rubbish. I wasted over two hours attempting to email customer services. Seems the latter doesn't exist. Trying everything else on their website, it seems they don't want to be contacted.
I phoned them a couple of months back concerning a scam email. They charged me for the call. If you speak to them online, you can't understand them. Mainly Indian etc.

It’s not the mobility scooters it’s the standard of driving them that’s the problem. Many of the users are incompetent and impatient. Some are downright rude.

There should be a test to entitle them to drive these things

I have had to dodge these scooters in town and supermarket.....some of the users feel they are above the law and above criticism. Some of their language bordered on the obscene

I once had to catch and hold one guy on a scooter who had knocked down a shopper but drove off. He actually struck me with a club like walking stick that I took off him...fun n games indeed  Eventually paramedics arrived and took the injured party to hospital. I don’t know how seriously hurt she was but.......:noidea:

Seems a lot Mike......you should consult other providers

All parts of driving is bad, cars, tractors, 4x4's, vans, lorry's, horses, bi-cycles even walker's

When we used to go out walking on the roads I always film our walks, but now it's too danagerous to do so, been hit on the arms a few times and miss jiff and me have had to jump into ditches or get hit by a vehicles, been spat at and even had food thrown out of drives window at us, only a few drivers have some respect for other road users, most couldn't care a toss about any one else and where's the police,

So we walk across the fields on footpaths, getting wet feet is better then being hit by a vehical:ccheers: and the lanuage is better from the sheep and cattle

Seems a lot to me as well. We have two BT landlines (long story) but the one that has the internet (fibre) on it only costs £18 per month (two year contract) for the line, unlimited weekend and evening calls plus the internet. They advertise that service at £39.99 per month but it's almost always on offer at £29.99 (advertised on the radio). Each time the contract needs renewing I keep their sales person on the phone, arguing about how rubbish the internet is, until they reduce the price.

They're a bloody menace! They should definitely have a large identifier on them, like a number plate, so you can get them reported or whatever.

Some but not all do need a number plate if driven on the highway

I just had a silent moan - just realized when I was over there I never tried the much talked about spread named Marmite sp? and will never know what it is that makes people love it or hate it!
