Have checked and re-staked a lot of our taller plants in readiness for this afternoon. Hopefully all will survive to live another day.:hapflowers2:

            Hi,

Thanks Victoria. :) I don't have arthritis but I'm worried about wet rot and rising damp considering the way Blackie treats me; one thing I don't suffer from is dust unless I'm in the workshop.

Our year usually is 9 months winter and 3 months bad weather at the moment it's the 3 month phase but heading towards winter. I could really enjoy a bit of 30C but our high today is 17C and the rain is falling although in midsummer a couple of years ago it struggled to reach 10C and even peppered me with hail; we're used to it so just get on with our lives working around it.

I forecast a nice afternoon in the workshop with the doors closed.

            Kind regards, Colin.

Wet with a steady soft fall of rain which, so far, has reached less than a millimeter. The temperature is 59f, there's a steady breeze of around 3mph from the SouthWest, and the pressure reading is 986hpa:coffee::)

It was a cool 14c first thing this morning, with overcast skies, rising to around 17c by 10.30, when I decided that it was warm enough for a little gardening.
It’s now partly cloudy, and a comfortable 23c, with a breeze blowing through the house. Getting the air changed inside, in readiness for the rain tomorrow!

                    Hi,

I wandered through a miserable wet trip into the workshop an hour ago but once inside I soon was happy with a positive smile on my face.

This morning I had taken Bron over to The Range in Barnsley where she bought lots of crafting materials including two big wood heart plaques; the plaques had messages on them and Bron would prefer they were plain so plain they now are. I actually slipped up in watching Bron buy the hearts because I can easily make such things virtually free.

I've just made four of these hearts for Bron to decorate from 6mm thick MDF as a small prezzie so Bron too now has a big smile on her face; I'll drill holes for ribbon once Bron marks for the holes. Such small projects can be highly rewarding whilst costing very little.

                    Kind regards, Colin.

Been mostly just a bit damp up till now, but seems to be setting in now.
Not very warm either 18C was our max.
