Loads more sunshine this afternoon - not wall to wall but warm enough.

 

We are continuing with the fine drizzle, but I don’t care - Wales won!!

 

Mainly sunny but with a westerly wind again.

 

Mostly cloudy with blue sky to the north, just one of those days when due to the wind, westerly, the blue sky just struggled to get here.
It was sunnier in the afternoon but with a fairly strong wind.
Pretty cloudy again now.

I'm giddy with excitement; Blackie's deserted me at last even our patio is dry this morning; I wonder though if Blackie is just hiding waiting for me to head into the workshop? Yesterday Gale was here with a vengeance but must have run out of puff because it's unusual not to have rain and wind. It's a long time since I saw a forecast without rain. Whoopee standpipe season and hosepipe ban at last. Here's to Blackie & Gale; :rasp::rasp::rasp:

12c dull

 

We have steady “Gardeners rain” here, which should stop around 2pm. A cool 15c, again forecast to rise to 20c - I presume when the sun comes out...

The Yellow-on-radar rain is now arriving, so more purposeful rain, just in time for me to run up our drive and onto the street (insurance argument still ongoing) to the car...
repeat after me; “we needed the rain...we needed the rain...we needed the rain...”

 

Thought that we were set for a good day, but suddenly the heavens opened and it's now pouring! Oh well it will help settle in my newly rearranged border. Hopefully it will soon stop as quickly as it started .
